We are currently seeking Financial ServicesLawyers to work with Canada’s largest in-house financial and banking institutions.Responsibilities:Drafting, negotiating, planning and/or implementing compliance policies and procedures for regulatory matters and business units.Identifying behaviours of concern in the financial services industry, drafting business requirements documents, conducting data analysis.Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex terms and share with various stakeholders in a simple and effective manner.Ability to identify, assess, monitor, manage and report on compliance risk with a deep understanding of banking regulatory requirements.Minimum Qualifications:4+ years of financial services experience in the financial services industry with an understanding of bank business lines and operation units.Experience working with derivatives is considered an asset along with securities law and related regulatory compliance.Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating ISDA Derivatives Master Agreements.Experience within a corporate or financial institution related to ISDA documentation, a plus.Member in good standing with your respective Law Society.Compensation, Benefits & Location:This role offers competitive compensation and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace, that includes Medical, dental, and more.
