With over 17,000 employees in more than 550 offices throughout North America, HUB has grown substantially, in part due to our industry leading success in mergers and acquisitions.ABOUT THE JOBBased in Oakville, Ontario and reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst will be part of the Eastern Canadian CFO team, with personnel in across Eastern Canada. The successful applicant will maintain and distribute existing reporting and analysis as related to financial and operational metrics. The primary responsibilities include:Maintain and analyze the general ledger and monthly activities from divisions and acquisitions into Oracle ERP system (including financial reporting software Oracle Hyperion)Participate in the month-end close process, including responsibility for compensation reporting and analysis, along with review of journal entries and the P&LResearch, identify, and communicate key variances relating to financial and operational metricsImprove upon existing reporting as requested by managementProvide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisionsContribute to preparation of business presentations for Executive managementHigh degree of involvement in annual budget processAssist the operations and sales team on proper workflowLiaise with the HUB Financial Centre (transactional accounting centre)Various other as hoc assignments, as requiredAssist Finance management with day to day tasks and special requestsPosition RequirementsCPA (CA, CGA or CMA) required with at least a year post-qualifying experienceHighly proficient MS Excel skillsPowerPoint knowledgeStrong ability to learn systemsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and willingness to work overtime, particularly during the month-end close and budget processProactive drive to get things done and anticipate what is neededThis position is hybrid located in Oakville, ONTJOIN OUR TEAMDo you believe in the power of innovation, collaboration, and transformation?
