Job Description

Do you have a keen interest in financial analysis, modelling and monitoring indicators? Are you committed to continuous improvement and want to put your expertise to good use in a creative firm? Working under the supervision of the Controller, FP&A Manager, the FP&A Analyst will work with several business partners within the company. We're looking for someone with a strong analytical mind, intellectual curiosity and excellent communication skills. They will need to be highly organised in order to meet deadlines and have a keen eye for detail.

What you will accomplish with us

Participate in the financial planning process, including budgets and financial forecasts;

Analyze and explain budget variances;

Maintain and optimize financial forecasts, budgets, reports and KPIs for use by various business partners;

Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement production;

Monitor periodic results, analyze the causes of unexpected variances, highlight trends, issue recommendations, and participate in the achievement of company objectives;

Participate in monthly market financial performance reviews;

Carry out financial analyses and ad hoc data.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting;

5 to 7 years' relevant professional experience;

Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken;

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;

Excellent financial modelling skills;

Ability to analyze and summarize with rigor, resourcefulness and team spirit;

Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (an asset);

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (an asset).
