Position summary: The FinancialAnalyst (FA) acts as a business partner supporting the Canadian finance teamwith the production, reporting and analysis of financial results and will playa key role during the forecasting process and the annual operating plan.Additionally, this position will interact with the International and USCorporate FP&A teams. Responsibilities: Responsible for preparing monthlyactual & forecasted financial reporting that provide value addinsights. Interact proactively with keyinternal stakeholders in Finance department, Supply Chain, PlantControllers, Sales Finance, Brand, Marketing and Senior Management. Coordinate input into thefinancial planning systems and validate accuracy and reasonableness ofdata. Development of analytical tools,modeling, processes to support deeper level analysis to achieve financialtargets. Suport maintenance and design ofmonthly cash flow forecasts and working capital submission. Prepare month end journal entriesto SAP. Develop and/or update processdocumentation. Actively identify and implementprocess improvements in area of responsibility, focus on simplicity,accountability and bringing value to the Conagra Canada business. Leading projects from conceptionto completion. Other special projects and ad hocreporting as required. Supervision: Reports to Manager Finance(FP&A), Canada. Lateral developmental assignmentas a Financial Analyst to broaden experience/skill set. Promotional opportunities toSenior Financial Analyst within the Finance function. Qualifications,Education & Experience: University degree in Accounting,Finance or equivalent Minimum 2+ years financialanalysis experience. Experience in consumer-packaged goods or Retailindustry is preferred. Experience effectively workingacross multiple departments to complete a project. Proven ability to self-motivate ina fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and adynamic business environment. Demonstrated ability to defineproblems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw validconclusions leading to recommended solutions. Accounting designation or inprocess of attaining (CPA preferred) Excellent computer skills withexpert Excel knowledge (Macros, Pivot Tables, complex formulas). Experience with MS Power BI. Experience with SAP/BI/BPC orother multi-dimensional database tools is desired. Organizational Skills – excellentorganizational skills and attention to detail. Interpersonal Skills – buildstrong relationships with corporate stakeholders. Effective Communication – speakingeffectively, listening to others and preparing written communication. Analytical thinking – analyzedata, identifying risks and opportunities, areas for improvement. Demonstrated ability to collectand analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
