Join Our Team: Finance Analyst, Finance Operations - Capital Expenditures (CAPEX)

Are you ready to be the financial engine behind transformative projects? We're seeking a dynamic Finance Analyst to drive our Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) operations to new heights. If you're passionate about finance, operations, and making a real impact, this role is tailor-made for you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CAPITAL EXPENDITURES (CAPEX)

  • Collaborate with Operations to prepare and review capital expenditure requests (CERs) and manage the approval process for capital projects.
  • Ensure seamless organization and electronic filing of all documentation related to capital projects.
  • Utilize Infor M3 ERP system to set up capital projects and related purchase orders, monitoring project progress along the way.
  • Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders, confirming satisfactory performance by vendors/suppliers.
  • Coordinate payment of capital project invoices and manage approval for any project overspend requests.
  • Review completed projects, determining asset categories and depreciation periods in accordance with established guidelines.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE (OE)

  • Support regional/OPCO OE leads and BU OE Manager in tracking and validating expected project benefits.
  • Assist in entering new OE initiatives and sustainability initiatives into the Global OE tracker.

PRODUCTION OPERATING EXPENSES (OPEX)

  • Collaborate with Operations Finance Manager to manage production-related operating expenses at local, regional, and BU-level management.
  • Develop and implement standard best practices for production OPEX processes to improve execution and forecasting.

DIGITAL, AUTOMATION, & TRANSFORMATION

  • Identify and develop automation solutions to streamline finance-related activities across CAPEX, OE, and Production OPEX.
  • Actively participate in related projects and other transformational initiatives.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a must, with a CPA designation highly regarded.
  • For this junior position, you bring two to three years of relevant experience to the table, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Knowledge of corporate compliance policies is a plus.
  • Your digital capabilities, including data analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and other types of automation experience are essential.
  • Excel, Access, Word – you're a pro. Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, OneStream, and M3? Even better.

  • Hands-On Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing/plant control is a definite plus.
