We are currently looking for a qualifiedFinancial Analystto join the LundbeckFinance team. This is a temporary full-time job (12 month contract), reporting to the Director, Finance.

Key Responsibilities

-Participate in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget, QEs, and financial projections in partnership with the lines of businesses and Head of Finance.
-Prepare monthly sales adjustments and provisions (PLA, other sales deductions, etc).
-Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual variance between actuals and latest projection for cost centers in a comprehensive way and reflecting an understanding of the underlying drivers for such deviations.
-Liaise with BI and Market Access to ensure any relevant access assumptions are accurately accounted for in the sales adjustments forecast.
-Coordinate expenses (product and non-product related) with key stakeholders by owning the accrual process. Provide timely tracking and expense analysis to ensure teams are well informed of the status of their budget and can execute according to the plans communicated to senior management.
-Coordinate the Alliance cross charges, true ups, and accruals.
-Analyze the monthly cash flow and liaise with the corporate Treasury department.
-Support sales tax reporting, tax installments, transfer pricing as well as tax audits with the Finance Director.
-Oversee the Order to cash process with the 3PL party: approve credit limit and returns, review bank and AR reconciliations, prepare balance sheet analysis.
-Maintain and develop various financial reports to support analysis.
-Apply accounting rules and determine implications for the business (revenue recognition, opex management - Technical knowledge required).
-Complete various ad hoc projects and initiatives dealing with cost/benefit analysis, process improvements, simplification initiatives; and local or regional head office needs.


Job Requirements / Desired qualifications

-5+ of relevant experience in Finance related role.
-Excellent analytical skills, and solid business experience/acumen.
-Strong expertise in Accounting.
-Advanced knowledge of software such as Excel, PowerPoint
-Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
-Ability to self-manage, adjust to rapidly shifting priorities and deliver projects with tight deadlines.
-Bilingual (French and English), preferred
-Experience with SAP ERP and SAC tool an asset
-Bachelor of Commerce
-Professional accounting/finance designation (CPA)
-Pharma experience, an asset
