Job Description

Wolfond Financial is looking for an Experienced Administrative Financial Assistant to join our team. You will support a growing practice and a successful team of advisors.What you’ll doPrepare documents for advisors’ client meetings.Process purchases, withdrawals, switches, and external transfersFollow-up tracking on processed transactions with external fund companies.Monitor trades, systematic withdrawals and preauthorized contributionsInvestigate issues with fund companies, nominee platforms and the Canada Revenue AgencyFile physical and electronic documentsEnter notes and process transactions in online system.Process client signatures using e-signature software.Follow compliance rules.Monitor multiple emails.Back-up office receptionOther office administrative support as neededWhat you bring to the tableHigh attention for detail·        Strong written and verbal communications skillsSuperior problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment·        Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skillsExisting financial knowledge (i.e. RSP, TFSA, RIF, etc.) Meeting advisors’ and clients’ deadlinesDemonstrated client service skills·        Ability to work independently and as a member of a team·        Post secondary education in office administration or a related field, 1 to 3 years of job-related work experience, including managing and maintaining files, or an equivalent combination of education and experience What you can expect More than a paycheque, Wolfond Financial is proud to offer customized compensation for our team members.
