The Opportunity:
ML6 has partnered with a leading consumer goods manufacturer who is looking to add a dynamic Finance Manager to its Supply Chain team.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Track, analyze, and report monthly on freight spend, warehousing costs, and inventory changes throughout the organization.
- Present financial results monthly to the Supply Chain leadership team.
- Manage the Supply Chain forecasting process for the annual budget, latest estimates, and strategic plan.
- Continue the development of robust monthly forecasting tools.
- Develop, track, and maintain both procurement and commodity price tracking tools and reporting processes.
- Work with the IT department to develop and drive process improvement and reporting automation for both operational and financial information.
- Identify areas of improvement and strategies to respond to stakeholder inquiries, both internal and external.
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to continue the analytics journey and reporting expansion through new digital tools.
What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- University degree in Business and Accounting.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA completed or near completion.
- 5+ years of cross-functional business finance experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, inventory, or warehousing with a solid understanding of operations accounting and FP&A.
- Tech savvy with the ability to learn systems and concepts with ease.
- Ability to translate and present financial information and concepts in simple messaging.
