If this sounds like you, and youre looking for an opportunity to make an immediate impact on a growing organization, we invite you to apply!About the Role:The Finance Consultant will streamline existing budget and forecast models, enhance project-level financial modelling, and prepare budget and actual variance analyses for year-end audits. Key deliverables include transitioning existing information into a more user-friendly format within the first 30 days and preparing the 2024 budget for board approval within 60 days. Reporting to executive management, the Consultant will drive financial insights and support strategic decision-making.What You Will Be Doing:Lead the preparation of a revised, consolidated-level budget using advanced Excel skillsDevelop dynamic budget models to facilitate revisions, scenario analysis, and what-if scenariosIncorporate subsidiary-level budgets into the consolidated budget, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectivesImplement ad-hoc revisions, scenario analyses, and what-if analyses as requested by executive management and the BoardEnhance project-level financial modelling and prepare presentations for key stakeholdersAssist with year-end budget and actual variance analysis, supporting audit processes and board approvalContribute to special projects or finance initiatives as requiredWhat We Need From You:Advanced-to-expert level Excel skills, capable of developing complex financial modelsExperience in budgeting and forecasting within a professional corporate setting, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requestsAbility to translate financial data into presentation formats and conduct scenario analysisKnowledge of finance and accounting principles, including IFRSAccounting designation or working towards obtaining such designationExperience in multi-subsidiary, multi-currency entities is idealFamiliarity with financial modelling for mine operations or other extractive industries an assetNext Steps:We here at Clarity Recruitment would like to thank you for your applicationOnly those chosen for a phone interview will be contacted via email and text to set up a phone interviewClarity Recruitment is an equal-opportunity employer.
