Full time day for experienced assemblers in our truck body division.Final Assembly Technician responsibilities include :Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and proceduresDetermine the appropriate tooling based on job requirementsAssemble truck bodies and parts post paint (install locks, hardware, lighting)Mounting truck body to truck chassisWiring for 12-volt electrical systemsinstallation of hydraulic systems (PTO's, pumps, compressors)Test and inspect assembled product(s) to discover flawsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyJob Requirements:Proven experienceExperience using a variety of hand toolsExperience in using electrical or manual tools (drills, tape measure, screw drivers sockets)knowledge of 12-volt electrical systemsKnowledge of hydraulic systems (PTO's, pumps, compressors)Operate air powered hand tools (screw guns, ratchets, drills etc)Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawingsKnowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)Deftness and attention to detailProficient in EnglishMechanically inclinedEducation:Certificate or courses in Automotive Technician/Mechanic a plusBenefit package includes:HealthDentalPrescription drugsLong term disabilitypaid vacation daysOpportunities:OvertimeContinuous Education/TrainingJob growthJob Type:Full-timePay rate:Pending experienceBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careOn-site parkingTuition reimbursementVision careSchedule:8-hour shiftDay shiftMonday to Friday#J-18808-Ljbffr
