Field Service Technician - Vehicle Fire Suppression SystemsThursday, February 1, 2024 Build your Career with Levitt-Safety!Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experiencedField Service Technicianto join ourFire Suppression Team in Oakville, ON.Your role will include diverse maintenance and repair & maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems and Equipment.While this position is based out of our Oakville branch, there will be remote service requirements at customer locations in the Southern Ontario area. Your role will include diverse maintenance and repair activities including:Inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance of Fire Suppression systems as well as other Fire Suppression equipment at various customer sites Troubleshoot and provide solutions to service related problems. Performing site-specific training for owners and end-users Being the Face of Levitt-Safety for our customers and their onsite safety needsWhat we offer: Monday to Friday,salaried position with paid vacation and other time away from work benefits Competitive pay in line with your experience and qualifications, plus paid training/certification, and potential for on-call premiums Medical, dental, vision, EAP, RRSP matching, and other group health insurance benefits for you and your family Profit-sharing opportunity Company-provided service vehicle and tools All expenses paid for out-of-town business travel, when required Qualifications:Experience working in a mechanical shop or equivalent hands-on role with vehicles or other motorized equipment Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude with experience working with power and hand tools Experience, education, or training & working with fire protection and/or suppression systems is a strong asset A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract, comfortable travelling around the GTA Excellent customer service and communication skills Able to work with technology and mobile devicesPhysical Safety Requirements This is a physically demanding and safety-sensitive role involving various types of equipment and work environments.
