We provide expertise in systems integration, instrumentation, and PLC/DCS solutions.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Technician. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mining and process automation equipment for Tusk Automation's clients both locally and beyond. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting, installing and providing technical support for instrumentation and automaton systems. The technician will provide assistance to the panel shop and other Tusk business units as required.Expect regular travel with durations of 1 week being typical.QualificationsExperience in installation, maintenance, and repair of flow, pressure, level and similar instrumentsKnowledge of PLC/DCS systems is a plusExperience installing instrumentation tubing, wiring andAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawingsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamExperience in mining or process automation industryRed Seal electrician or instrumentation mechanic, or a technical diploma in instrumentationCompensation$42-$49/hr dependent on experienceExtended health/dental coverage3 weeks vacationLaptop and cell phone
