Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Womenswear Fashion Designer to join our team! This individual will be working within a dynamic and inspiring design team. This role will work directly with the Design Director.Tasks:Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, analyze runways and consumer preferences;Participate & develop collection concept mood boards and color palettes to establish the desired aesthetic for each season;Create original designs and follow through the entire process from initial sketch CAD, techpack, prototype & SMS;Create presentation boards & sketch boards for internal review meetings;Create & maintain collection plan boards used for internal planning purposes;Work closely with suppliers and oversea product development and costing;Create styles in our ERP system and ensure any changes & updates are reflected in the system throughout the system;Participate in fittings and relay comments & changes to the factory;Coordinate & maintain follow up lists for sampling;Collaborate with the Marketing team on Product Features for ecommerce;Adhere to the Design & Development calendar and make sure all deadlines & key milestones are met.Requirements:Fashion Design Diploma in WomenswearMust have 2+ years experience in similar roleStrong Illustrator skillsStrong Organizational SkillsSmart, Driven & HardworkingGreat AestheticLoves FashionFlexibility to travel
