We are a busy family of four living in the Yonge and Lawrence area. We are looking for an experienced housekeeper and cook who is available to work on a part-time basis. We would like to find someone who has experience working with children and is open to occasional babysitting opportunities beyond the regular schedule. Our children are 3 and 6 years old and are in school or camp fulltime.
Primary responsibilities will include cleaning, laundry, occasional ironing, cooking and meal prep, tidying and organizing, and occasional errands. As we get to know you, there may also be light childcare responsibilities such as picking up children from school and providing an afterschool snack. We are looking for someone who is dependable, trustworthy and self-motivated. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working as a housekeeper for another family and experience working with children. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and access to a vehicle. The candidate must be fluent in English. References from previous employers and an up-to-date police check are required. We are looking for someone who can work approximately 20-25 hours per week. Exact arrangements can be flexible for the right individual. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
