We are currently looking for a family lawyer to join either our Langley or Chilliwack location.Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of current experience in a British Columbia family law practice. They will be comfortable running files independently and be knowledgeable in a wide range of family law matters including separation agreements, spousal maintenance, and asset division, as well as with conducting hearings, discoveries, mediations and trials. They will be experienced in instructing support staff, receiving instructions from clients, drafting pleadings, speaking to chamber applications, negotiating at mediations, appearing at trial and handling all aspects of a file from beginning to end. Experience with general civil litigation would be an asset.We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic lawyer who desires to become a part of the community that they serve. They will thrive on challenging work, be self‐motivated with sound judgement, display a sound work ethic, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be one who is excited to grow their practice and work towards the possibility of partnership.
