Are you exceptionally organized and can think fast on your feet? If so, Toromont CAT would like you on the Concord facilities Team. Our facilities objectives are continuing to grow at a rapid pace and we need someone to assist in the improvements. The candidate will be responsible for Facilities Management of the Concord site and assist with the day-to-day requirements of the building operation, grounds and critical infrastructure, including Security and Custodial services.As a Facilities Administrator, YOU will experience:Working within one of the safest organizations in the industry where your safety and well-being are our most important priorityWorking for the best in class equipment dealer and with the premium Caterpillar brandOpportunities to continuously Learn, Grow and Develop with our Toromont team through our internal Training teams that are geared for your successCompetitive total rewards including: wages, benefits, and premiums (as eligible)An opportunity for flexible work schedules and opportunities across multiple locations across Eastern CanadaIn a typical day, YOU will:Assist in the planning and execution of facility standards and best practicesDevelop and maintain contractor and vendor contact lists including Contractor ComplianceAdministration of Purchase Orders and invoice management through our internal systemsManagement of RPRA-Hazardous Waste Program Registry expensesMonitor facility expenses as well as project related workMaintain legislative filing requirements for Buildings and Properties.Process and monitor work requests from concept to completionOrganize and oversee the work for contractors and vendors.Monitor ongoing metrics and suggest areas for improvement Assist with the execution of Project workParticipate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviours and objectives at all times in support if Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Programs and best practices.Point contact for onsite third party security teamImplementation and data management of the new CMMS systemMust-haves for this role:Post Secondary Education and/or experience in skilled trades or building operations.Experience in using virtual building management software.Knowledge of building systems; life safety, computer rooms, heavy equipment repair shop equipment, air compressors and HVAC systemsExperience in virtual project management and contractor coordination.Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to prioritize and deliver results in a timely manner while being adaptable to constant change in a fast paced environment.Results driven, self-starter, independent and a team player with strong initiative.Excellent computer proficiencies, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.French would be an assetAbout Toromont CatWith over 7,000 employees and 56 locations from Manitoba to Newfoundland, Toromont Cat has a proven track record, industry knowledge, dealership infrastructure, and service mindset to ensure our Construction, Mining, and Power Generation customers succeed.
