Banff Caribou Properties is a dynamic and growing company and as we continue to expand, we are looking for a talented and experienced IT Generalist to join our team and support our technological needs. Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Generalist with a broad range of technical expertise to manage and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in network management, hardware and software troubleshooting, system administration, and end-user support. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This position is in person in Banff, Alberta. Remote work is not available. Key Responsibilities: Network Management:

Maintain and troubleshoot local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), ensuring reliable connectivity and performance. System Administration:

Manage and support servers, including file, email, and application servers. Ensure data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and operational. Hardware and Software Support:

Install, configure, and maintain computer and VOIP hardware, software, and peripherals. Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues promptly. Security:

Implement and manage security protocols to protect company data and IT infrastructure from cyber threats. Monitor and respond to security incidents. Technical Documentation:

Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and user manuals. Training and Support:

Provide training to staff on IT systems and best practices. Offer ongoing technical support and guidance. Qualifications: Technical Applied Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role. Must have a valid drivers license Proficient in Windows Experience with network administration Knowledge of cloud services Familiarity with virtualization technologies Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
