Job Description
Position: Excavation Worker/Construction Helper Type: Permanent, full-time Location: Various job sites in Kamloops and surrounding areas, BC Hourly Wage: $25.00 CAD Requirements: No prior experience required but welcomed; on-the-job training will be provided; Good command of English; Education: Some secondary school. Main duties: Assist with excavation needs including signaling operators to guide them in moving equipment, providing assistance in loading and unloading excavators from trucks; Assist excavator operators in securing special attachments to equipment and providing assistance in other activities; Assist in demolishing buildings; Use hand and power tools; Load, unload, and transport construction equipment and materials; Clean and prepare construction sites by removing rubble, debris, and waste materials; Perform routine maintenance work, including oiling and greasing heavy equipment; Follow supervisors' instructions and perform other tasks as needed; Adhere to safety procedures.
