Job Description

Department: UHN Digital - Epic End User Devices (EUD)
Reports to: Manager
Work Model: On-Site
Grade: H0:90
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary:To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy
Status: Temporary Full-Time, 12 Months
Closing Date: July 5, 2024

Duties

  • Experience working in a fast pace healthcare setting, implementing innovative technology
  • Assess current hardware, collect device inventory, develop floor plans for mapping devices, perform site assessment and gap analysis based on high-level requirements standards of each area for new Epic devices
  • Experience with HIS system/EPIC systemanasset
  • Increase knowledge of project management and coordination
  • Increase experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Increase experience with specific healthcare technology software
  • Develop good working relationship with end users by visiting clinical locations in hospitals, working with front-line managers as needed to assess concerns or issues related to end user hardware
  • Experience with EPIC hardware, Rovers, Barcode Scanner etc an asset
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Completeda technical/health informatics or similar undergraduate or post-graduate program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with teams which include professionals and non-professionals an asset
  • Experience demonstrating initiative and meeting competing deadlines in detail-oriented environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work and schedules
  • Willingness to go above and beyond in order to accomplish project deliverables on time
  • Available for work evening and weekends, if required
