JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an ETL developer (TALEND).
Responsibilities
- Analyze and create high-quality apps
- Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver user training for peers and consumers
- Round out the team with your knowledge and best practices as a developer
- Help install and test software packages and roll out applications
- Manage priorities and have strong analytical skills
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Personal Skills:
- A strong communicator with the ability to interface directly with clients and analysts to ensure technical requirements and delivery align with expectations
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues, and effectively communicate possible resolutions
- Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks assigned
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to deal with difficult situations/individuals gracefully
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of Financial services
- Experience with ETL or Data integration tools like Informatica, TalenD
- Experience with Data visualization tools and reporting tools
- Experience with Cloud based tools and technologies
- Java, Unix OS, Scripting, Python or Perl
- Experience in development on other application types (Web applications, batch, or streaming)
- Proficient in DevOps tooling and practices
