Job Description

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function within Independent Risk Management is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the principles articulated in Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and for the performance of specific enterprise-level risk management programs and processes that span the organization, the lines of defense and risk categories. These programs and processes include risk identification, risk appetite and limits, risk frameworks and policy, enterprise risk analytics, new activity risk management, strategic risk management, digital and climate risk assets, and Governance & Chief Administrative Office (CAO) pillar. The Head of ERM also oversee entire Risk Transformation organization and reports directly to the Citigroup Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage ERM governance forums, including preparation of PowerPoint materials, meeting minutes, action items tracking and resolution
  • Maintain forum charter or terms of reference document and membership
  • Prepare Plan meeting agenda aligned to in accordance with forum mandate, scope, and responsibilities, and relevant policy documents’ requirements
  • Manage meeting dates and calendars
  • Manage the committees’ performance, self-assessment & skills evaluations
  • Collaborate with first, second, and third lines of defense partners
  • Respond to emails, queries regarding meetings, materials, and minutes

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Risk Management function with a bank, financial services consulting, or regulatory body
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for Enterprise Risk Management Governance
  • Understanding of governance for Enterprise Risk Management programs such as Stress Testing, Risk Appetite, Limits and Threshold Management, Risk Identification, and Concentration Risk Management frameworks
  • Proven ability to drive results and meet deadlines
  • Highly motivated with attention to detail, excellent planning skills, team oriented, organized, pro-active
  • Adaptable, flexible and creative, demonstrate ability to identify and improve failing processes
  • Ability to assess complex issues, identify potential solutions, and drive to resolution with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal executive level communication skills, including excellent minute and note taking skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills with prior experience interfacing with senior management
  • Ability to articulate complex problems and policy interpretations through concise and clear messaging
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Word

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
