We have a very unique, sharp system & need your help to get ready for this growth. Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure the timely availability of goods and services. Manage our comprehensive purchasing operations, including our turn-key list of 300 items. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements. Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements. Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing issues promptly and ensuring high-quality products/services. Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the efficiency of the purchasing process. Manage and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance and support. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Equipment and Smallware Purchasing Manager or in a similar role. Strong negotiation and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite. Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Asset to have education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Asset to have experience importing goods from China.
