Keystone Environmental offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package as well as a supportive and dynamic work environment designed to enhance employee experience and engagement.We are currently seeking an experienced, eager and motivated Environmental Engineer or Scientist for to work as part of our Contaminated Sites Field Services group at our new office in Victoria, BC.Position Overview: The Contaminated Sites Field Role position is responsible to conduct field programs as part of contaminated sites investigation projects. This position is the face of Keystone Environmental in the field and provides exceptional client service in the domain of environmental consulting. Main duties will include Phase 1 and 2 PSI's and DSI's, site observation, construction monitoring, reporting, data tabulation, soil/groundwater sampling and QA/QC.The successful applicant will have the following:excellent, communications, organization, and interpersonal skillspracticed at report writing and data analysissuperior knowledge of British Columbia environmental legislation, contaminated sites regulations, codes and standardsstrong focus on quality and technical excellencetechnical knowledge of contamination fate and transport.the ability to make sound, defensible decisions in the fieldproficiency in the completion of Phase 1 and 2 PSI’s, DSI’s, remedial action plans and remediation programswillingness to travelJob Requirements:The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in environmental sciences/engineering/consulting and be experienced in all facets of contaminated sites field work and have:A relevant university degreeA minimum of 2 years related field experienceRegistered as E.I.T., G.I.T., or eligible upon applicationA valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.All interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply with their resume and cover letter referencing “Contaminated Sites Field Services - Victoria”, in the subject line.
