(KCB) is seeking an Environmental Scientist Project Coordinator to support our mining and environmental consulting services out of our Sudbury, ON office. The role of Environmental Scientist Project Coordinator will provide you with the opportunity to: Collaborate and coordinate with geoscientists, engineers, and environmental scientists on engineering and environmental projects. Communicate with the project team, subconsultants, external laboratories, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, on schedule, and on budget. Coordinate field teams and laboratory analyses. Maintain organizational requirements across project files, emails, and project documentation. Assist Project Managers and c oordinate technical and project management deliverables: Prepare comprehensive project management reports to communicate project status internally and externally. Prepare and issue meeting minutes for internal and external team meetings. Prepare Requests for Information for review and issuance. Prepare for review and issue weekly timesheet and expense reports, bi-weekly earned value, P6 baseline, and bi-weekly P6 schedule updates. Prepare action lists for review and issue and follow up as required. Regularly update project trackers including invoicing and cost tracking (includes cost-curves, schedule performance, and earned value analysis). Prepare for review cost and schedule trend alerts, and project change requests Prepare monthly forecasts and accruals. Coordinate deliverables through Integrated Management System. What we require: We respect the knowledge and experience you have gained to date and are willing to support you as you build on this. We do however request that you have: A degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science. 3+ years’ geoscience experience (preferably for mining or related industries), with a track record of continued development. You must be eligible to register as professional engineer in Canada. Experience in project management, a certification would be an asset. Experience in data management, a certification would be an asset. Demonstrated ability to apply a high standard of professional and scientific rigor to projects and deliverables. Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, high degree of organization, and work independently with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment. Experience working with multidisciplinary project-based teams. Experience with best management practices, construction environmental monitoring, environmental program management, and environmental management plans. Effective written and verbal communication along with organization and analytical skills.
