We are seasoned geoscientists, engineers, and environmental scientists with stellar credentials in the environmental and earth sciences, and seeking an intermediate level Environmental Consultant to join our team.WORK LOCATION: HYBRID- Office/ Client Work Sites/ Work from HomeCOMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience. Health Benefits, Bonus Plan.POSITION SUMMARYThe Environmental Consultant works collaboratively with team members and clients to manage a variety of projects that primarily involve geotechnical, hydrogeological, and environmental site assessments. You will be working on multiple project files ranging in value from $10s of thousands to $1M or more.Responsibilities will include:Preparing well thought out scopes of work and proposalsOverseeing all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects, including on-site project resources, teams, and tasksManaging client relationships and expectations throughout the lifecycle of projectsDrafting reportsEnsuring project timelines are met safely, on-time, and within budgetMentoring and supporting junior and technical field staffMaintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of existing and emerging regulatory requirements and industry best-practicesParticipating in developing and/or presenting and attending conferences to develop your own expertise and to elevate BlueFrog’s reputation in the industryREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSBachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering with an earth sciences focus, hydrogeology, environmental earth science, or a similar programP.Eng or P.Geo designation would be considered an asset6+ years’ work experience in the environmental consulting sectorExpert working knowledge of applicable Ontario Regulations and Standardscompleting and/or supporting geotechnical and hydrogeological investigationsexecuting or assisting with Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs) and O.Reg. 153/04 compliant Phase One and Two ESAsexecuting or assisting with O.Reg. 406/19 Excess Soil Management projects.verbal and written communications skills.mindset and problem solving skillsclient service attitude, responsiveness and sense of urgencydriver’s licenseIf you meet the above qualifications, and are interested in joining an organization with an outstanding culture and team, please submit your cover letter and resume.
