Job Description
This is a hybrid position (1x a week in the office) in Downtown Vancouver. Candidates must be in British Columbia to be considered for this role. This is a completely new position with a non-profit organization with multiple sites around Vancouver. They are investing heavily in their digital transformation, and this is an opportunity to get involved from the early stages and help build a new department from the ground up. You need previous experience with enterprise risk and compliance management, and privacy and information management for this position. You will evaluate this company’s existing state first and provide strategies and recommendations accordingly. What you will do and how you will make an impact … (-) You will manage the enterprise risk register and develop this further. (-) You will develop the risk management framework and promote privacy and risk awareness across the organization. (-) You will develop a compliance framework and ensure compliance with PIPA, FOIPPA, and PIPEDA, and will be responsible for information management. (-) You will implement best practices for privacy and stay up to date with regulations. You will train internal team members, and lead investigations into any reported breaches.
