About The Role

Trojan Technologies is looking for an Engineering Team Leader to provide leadership to an innovative Product Development team for Trojan Technologies products, including but not limited to multiple engineering disciples that are engaged in the development of Trojan Technologies products. This person will lead by example in terms of gaining and leveraging customer insight and experience to drive value for customers, collaborate with Product Management and cross functional management to establish and deliver on product roadmaps that support innovation and growth goals at agreed budget and timelines.

In this role, you will:

• Providing leadership to an Engineering team consisting of multiple engineering disciples that are engaged in the development of Trojan Technologies products
• Build and develop the team ensuring high level of engagement and professional development
• Collaborating with Product Management and Cross Functional Management to establish and deliver on product roadmaps that support innovation and growth goals at agreed budget and timelines
• Leading by example in terms of gaining and leveraging customer insight and experience to drive value for customers
• Ensures the use and improves upon robust engineering and development processes
  
  
  

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

• Post-secondary education in Engineering or Technology
• Experience as both a contributor and as a leader in an Engineering setting
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels – ability to present complex, technical, or difficult messages clearly and persuasively
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize clearly and manage a resource pool
