LRDL is looking for a leader to work in an innovative and recognized industrial dynamic environment, managing a diverse project portfolio across many different sectors. This is a self-motived role requiring strong interpersonal skills with ability to lead, direct, and manage a diverse team with varying experience. Development and implementation of new processes and strategies while maintaining the status quo of in-flight projects will require a clear strategy to maintain high quality deliverables. Experience in Organizational operations, Project Management, Project Engineering, Resource Management, Construction Execution, and a financial acumen will be beneficial in this role. Responsibilities of the Engineering Operations Manager include: Project Management Development Strategic project planning and goal setting Overseeing project execution and governance Overseeing documentation and proper engineering deliverables Process improvement and standards development Operations Planning and monitoring project development through all phases (planning to completion); ensure deadlines are met with high quality Managing engineering and shop resources Align with Ownership to implement strategic goals Risk mitigation from Proposals to Project Execution Seize opportunities of improved financial returns; implementation of monitoring/controls Recognize opportunities of/and improve team collaboration Provide support in technical, contractual and execution issues Improve and expand client relationships Administration Improve Team collaboration Improve efficiencies related to resources; do more with less/same On-going process & company improvement Minimum Qualifications & Requirements: 10+ years of supervisory, project management and/or construction experience Possess a degree in engineering or business from an accredited university in Canada or equivalent If applicable, registered as professional engineer in Canada Comprehension of the fundamentals of machinery industrial controls, fabrication, and construction Must have supervisory experience Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an asset Committed to professionalism, safety, and being a team player Willing and able to travel within Canada and USA (possess a valid passport and Class 5 operator's license)#J-18808-Ljbffr
