About the team + role
The Web Platform team’s mission is to deliver a healthy and resilient platform that empowers Robinhood web engineering at scale.
As Engineering Manager, you will own day-to-day operations, help the engineers on your team grow their careers, and be responsible for setting the direction of web engineering at Robinhood.
What you’ll do
- Lead day-to-day execution of the team through standup, retros, and other team processes.
- Grow the careers of the engineers on the team.
- Choose the most impactful initiatives to undertake towards the goal of empowering Robinhood's 40+ web engineers.
- Partner with product teams to help them ship with the highest possible velocity and quality.
What you bring
- Experience leading engineering teams in solving complex problems.
- A strong frontend web engineering background.
- Strong opinions about how to make developers as productive as possible.
- Strong communication skills; clarity of thought.
