Our client is a successful designer and manufacturer of electronic products for the HVAC industry. Their target market includes large hotel and resort properties throughout North America. The company has been in operation for over twenty years and is poised for growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to assume leadership of engineering responsibilities and to contribute to a growing a business.Responsibilities:Oversee all technical issues ranging from assembly, board design, quality control, supporting client installations, supplier relationships and client interactions.Support the sales function by responding to technical inquiries and providing information such as energy savings calculations.Set up technical document tracking systems, databases and produce operating manuals.Qualifications:Degree/diploma in electrical/electronic engineering.5+ years of experience in electrical product design within a manufacturing environment.Adept with current software programs such as Autocad and Microsoft Office etc.Willingness to travel on occasion to customer sites in Canada and the U.S.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience with component selection.Knowledge of safety testing and compliance with CSA and UL.Please send resume in confidence to: Dave Taylor ,dave@morganpalmer.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
