We are currently seeking a new Director of Engineering to join their dynamic and thriving team.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the engineering team, composed of project managers, engineers, technicians, and drafters, to successfully carry out multiple projects.
- Actively participate in the development and management of bid submissions for both public and private tender calls.
- Leverage expertise and experience to guide both the team and clients throughout the execution of mandates.
- Work closely with clients to define their engineering needs and ensure their satisfaction.
- Oversee and ensure the production of key technical deliverables by the team.
- Validate the compliance of engineering documents issued by the team with specifications, standards, and applicable codes.
- Monitor the financial performance of the engineering team and manage associated risks in close collaboration with management.
Skills and qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Training in administration or PMP considered an asset
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in team management in an engineering consulting environment. Demonstrated skills in team management
- Experience in structural engineering considered an asset
- Good proficiency in both French and English, both oral and written
