Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the Engineer-In-Training rotation, including roles in Ore Control, Drill/Blast, Dispatch, Dewatering, and Planning.
- Collaborate with site departments to meet mine engineering and operational objectives.
- Monitor and report on mine KPIs.
- Analyze production data and recommend improvements.
- Assess new equipment, technologies, and processes for potential implementation.
- Prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documents as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Mines Act, permits, regulations, and policies.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of company policies related to Mine Engineering.
Professional Experience / Qualifications
- Registration as an EIT with a recognized Professional Engineering Association.
- Knowledge of mining processes.
Education
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or related field.
