Key Responsibilities

  1. Participate in the Engineer-In-Training rotation, including roles in Ore Control, Drill/Blast, Dispatch, Dewatering, and Planning.
  2. Collaborate with site departments to meet mine engineering and operational objectives.
  3. Monitor and report on mine KPIs.
  4. Analyze production data and recommend improvements.
  5. Assess new equipment, technologies, and processes for potential implementation.
  6. Prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documents as needed.
  7. Ensure compliance with Mines Act, permits, regulations, and policies.
  8. Contribute to the development and enforcement of company policies related to Mine Engineering.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Registration as an EIT with a recognized Professional Engineering Association.
  • Knowledge of mining processes.

Education

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mining or related field.

  • Williams Lake serves a population of approximately 12,000, with a regional service area of about 25,000.
