Job Description:

Come join a diverse and growing team as a Product Marketing Engineer where you will be responsible for driving Microchip’s industry leading Timing solutions into key applications. In this highly technical role, you will be working closely with System Architects, Application engineers and the whole Marketing team to drive the Timing solutions that work seamlessly with the large Microchip portfolio and partner SOC designs.

  • Technical marketing support for System Architects, R&D and senior Marketing
  • Work with Timing product lines to help evaluate current and future products
  • Assist with cross divisional engagements to maximize opportunities for Microchip
  • Work with the marketing team to increase visibility of products and solutions with specific focus on Automotive and Communications markets
  • Work with the marketing team and engineers to analyze customer design activity, understand successes and learn from failures
  • Actively maintain and audit marketing content to ensure consistent messaging (website, collateral, selector guides, demos, etc.)

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering Master’s degree from an accredited university
  • Proficient with office suite (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated, team player and adhere to Microchip company values
  • Ability to manage deadlines on multiple projects
  • Ability to influence and coordinate with coworkers from different business units, with different roles and goals, and across multiple time zones
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to establish, observe and manage priorities
  • Problem solving and attention to detail
  • Some travel

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
