MPA have partnered with a lead 24hr emergency and specialty clinic who are looking for Emergency Veterinarian to join their team. With state of the art speciality services including dentistry, oncology, anesthesia, dermatology, surgery, internal medicine and advanced medical imaging. What you'll do The role involves delivering urgent and critical care to injured or ill dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets. Duties include performing emergency surgeries, overseeing anesthesia, administering medications, and monitoring patients' vital signs. The Emergency Veterinarian will collaborate closely with the veterinary team and other specialists to ensure optimal patient care. What you need: Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine, surgery, anesthesia, and critical careDVM or equivalent degree from an accredited universityLicensure to practice veterinary medicine in OntarioAbility to work well under pressure and make quick, sound medical decisionsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and veterinary team membersStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work overnight, weekends, and holidays as neededExperience with exotics and pocket pets is a plusTo explore this exciting opportunity further, please send your updated resume to casey.thompson@mparecruitment.ca
