Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Emergency Veterinarian at the company. The Emergency Veterinarian will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to critically injured or ill dogs, cats, exotics (including birds and reptiles), and pocket pets. They will work closely with the veterinary team to diagnose and treat patients, perform surgeries, administer anesthesia, monitor patients, and ensure appropriate care and treatment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario, Canada
- Ability to handle and treat a variety of animal species
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $70 - $97 per hour
