All of this, and it offers a smaller community feel with helpful & friendly neighbors, spirited community events and frequent backyard gatherings of friends.The Electrical Engineer will be called upon to manage a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects and electrical studies. We are looking for someone is excited to work independently and is keen to be a key player in and developing business relationships within the local industrial sector. Travel outside of the office and to industrial sites around Western Canada will be required on an ad hoc basis.Primary ResponsibilitiesTake part in all stages of projects (FEL1 to FEL4)Develop technical solutionsProduce drawings and specificationsProduce equipment specificationsOversee coordination among stakeholdersProvide technical support for various clientsAnalyze proposals and issue recommendations for procurementProduce project schedulesParticipate in site surveysQualificationsUniversity diploma in Electrical Engineering Registered (or eligible to register as) member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EBGC) or that of a recognized Professional Engineering Association in CanadaMinimum of 3+ years of experience in heavy industryVery autonomous, with in-depth knowledge of issues related to industrial productionAvailable to work outside of the office on an occasional basis (1 or 3 days/week)The expected salary for this position is based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity.
