Be part of a team responsible for electrical design
Assist in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements from both internal/external customers
Assist in the definition of the simulator equipment configuration, produce equipment lists, wiring diagram and electrical system schematics required to stimulate this equipment in a simulation environment
Participate in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements for both internal and external customers
Define and prepare technical documentation and drawings for simulated panels/instruments
Participate in design activities between different engineering groups and manufacturing
Participate in technical and conformance evaluations for simulated panels/instruments
Work in a team environment performing design at the system and component levels of flight simulators
Responsible for designing manufacturing, assembly and installation drawings
Work closely with the senior engineering staff to generate cost effective solution to meet our customer requirements
Find technical solutions to meet the requirements of the projects
Participate in requirement and design reviews (PDRs, CDRs) Troubleshooting and problem-solving
Qualifications
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering Degree or Equivalent Strong knowledge of electrical engineering concepts
Good working knowledge of CAD systems and word processing/spreadsheet softwares
Experience with electrical signal distribution/interconnection technology, interface packaging, and power supply/distribution
Knowledge of aircraft instrumentation, D/A A/D conversion, serial communication data busses such as RS-232/422, USB, and of the ARINC 429, ARINC 600 and Mil-1553 standard would be considered an asset
Experience with E2A, SEE Electrical, Powerdraft, an asset
