Job Overview
We are seeking an E-commerce Technical Lead with a strong background in coding to manage all technical aspects of our website. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced individual who thrives on problem-solving, coding, and delivering exceptional quality. You will be leading the software development process while ensuring close collaboration with our development team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand business requirements, architect the solution and translate that solution into a set of tasks for yourself and other development team members.
- Oversee all technical operations of the website, including server management, performance optimizations, deployments and managing third party systems and tools.
- Develop new features and make bug fixes as needed.
- Handle integrations with third-party applications such as analytics, advertising tracking systems, and conversion pixels.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the quality and functionality of the codebase.
- Take on-call duty for any system outages, setting up systems for quick recovery, and immediate notifications.
- Actively strive to enhance website performance, ensuring a faster and more efficient user experience.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in e-commerce, and apply this knowledge to our operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing and maintaining a WooCommerce website.
- Extensive full stack software development experience in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Strong technical acumen with experience in server management, dev ops, and website architecture.
- Proficiency in third-party integrations including analytics tools and advertising tracking systems.
- Capable of performing extensive code reviews and deploying changes to production.
- Solid experience in managing the software development life cycle.
- Experience in troubleshooting and rapid response during system outages.
- Good understanding of advertising and marketing metrics.
- Deep knowledge of website performance enhancement techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work during regular PST daytime working hours.
Compensation & Benefits
The E-commerce Technical Lead role offers a monthly salary range of $1,800 - $2,200 USD (100,000 PHP - 120,000 PHP), depending on experience. In addition to the base salary, team members are entitled to 10 days of paid vacation, regular statutory holidays and special non-working days off, and up to 5 paid sick days. We also provide 13th month pay as part of our compensation package (for PH employees only).
