March 18, 2024 BridgeWay Family Centre provides free prenatal services, early learning and family support programs to pregnant women and families/caregivers with children birth – 6 years of age. We are the largest provider of EarlyON programs in the Peel Region. BridgeWay is committed to providing the best support to our clients and sharing in their journey of parenting. Join BridgeWay as an EarlyON Manager to: Oversee the successful operations of BridgeWay’s 7 Brampton EarlyON locations Lead a team of Early Years Supervisors, Early Childhood Educators and Family Support staff, who are awaiting your mentorship, support and guidance Support the senior leadership team with the agency’s ‘facilities’ portfolio, including permit requests; meeting insurance requirements; providing support to the Joint Health and Safety Committee; coordinating centre moves/storage; coordinating maintenance requests Hours:Monday – Friday – 9:00 am – 4:30 (35 hours per week) *Some flexibility in hours required Starting Salary:$36.00 – $37.75 *Actual salary is determined by assessing related skills, experience and internal equity What you will do:Be part of a team of 3 Managers who oversee the agency’s 22 EarlyON centres Model and support staff to facilitate engaging, child led early learning programs that follow the ELECT and How Does Learning Happen? documents Assess and develop/mentor Brampton EarlyON Supervisors and Site Coordinators Hire new staff to join the BridgeWay team Oversee the agency’s volunteer program Seek out new community partnerships to make BridgeWay programs ‘the place to be’ Professionaly represent BridgeWay at EarlyON tables and community meetings Work with the Director, Strategy & Risk Management to support the agency’s ‘facilities’ portfolio e.g. submitting insurance/permit requests; maintenance request coordination; moves/item storage coordination What you will bring:An ECE diploma/degree (in good standing), Family Support Certificate or Degree in a related field At least 3 years’ experience in the early years field At least 3 years’ previous experience supervising staff, preferably in a management position Experience with facilities tasks Experience with volunteer project coordination an asset Emergency First Aid/CPR B or C certification Self-motivation and initiative Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organizational skills The ability to work some flexible hours Additional language(s) as an asset What we offer:BridgeWay has competitive salaries, an employee Group Registered Savings Plan to help you save for your retirement, vacation based on years of service, and a full benefits plan.
