Business Address: Avenue, Surrey, BC V3V 1Y9 Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (35 to 40 hours a week) Wage: $20.50 to $23.00 per hours (based on experience) Duties: Assist Early Childhood Educators in different programs that promote both physical and mental development of children; Discuss childrens progress and challenges during staff meetings; Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children; Assist early childhood educators in different programs that promote both physical and mental development of children; Arrange different activities for children such as telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts; Arrange/serve snacks and keep the lunch room ready before having lunch. Assist with proper eating and dressing habits; Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors; Order, supply and maintain childcare equipment; Help the early childhood educators to keep records; Perform other related duties as required. Skills requirement: Completion of Secondary Education required. Early Childhood Assistant Certificate program is required. Minimum 6 months of experience in child care is required.
