Aviya provides expertise in program management, systems, software, mechanical, and hardware engineering to many of the top-tier Aerospace and Defense Contractors. Aviya has an opening for a DPHM Software Engineer to join our engineering group in Mississauga, Ontario.Specific Position DutiesGenerate and administer ETL pipelines, databases, and APIs to other systems.Oversee pipeline development from inception to production releases.Identify root cause of missing, incorrect, or delayed data processing.Perform large-scale data reprocessing on cloud environments.Maintain web portal interfaces, and address maintenance/field support issues.Conduct design reviews and IPT approval meetings to ensure compliance with engineering standards.Prepare and deliver release engineering reports and presentations to communicate project status and findings.Update and maintain the DPHM SSIS data pipeline to ensure data integrity and reliability.Validate new digital engine services as part of the EIS rollout.Support development of engine model specific KPI dashboards.Analyze engine operational data from field and test cell.Develop and validate new engine-specific health monitoring functions, trend data cleansing scripts, and their portal interfaces.Qualifications for PositionDegree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred and will consider those with a background in Data Science/Data Engineering.Minimum 5 years of industry experience.Understanding of data governance principles to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.Proficiency in managing SQL and Delta Lake databases to ensure efficient data processing.Ability to support engineering by performing complex data queries and exploratory data analysis to extract meaningful insights.Proficiency in software validation and verification testing.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and logically.For further information please visit us at www.aviyatech.comAviya Aerospace Systems is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
