Responsibilities include project planning, budget management, ensuring operational processes are followed, and interfacing with customers and internal teams. The Manager also plays a key role in recruitment and training of Project Coordinators for efficient project execution. Collaboration with the Divisional Project Manager for budget planning and resource forecasting is essential for successful project outcomes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise employees in the Project Coordination team in compliance with company policies and regulations.Determine staffing functions, training, and motivational measures for the project coordination department.Analyze project completion/performance and customer feedback for areas of improvement.Ensure adherence to Nedcos purchasing, inventory, and warehousing processes.Complete regular project status reports identifying timelines, budget expenditures, and resolutions for issues during implementation.Meet with customers to update on project progress and address any changes in requirements.Respond to inquiries regarding project implementation status.Prepare project budgets in line with corporate and divisional guidelines.Monitor project expenses and take corrective action to control costs.Review financial records for accuracy and compliance with financial policies.Support project budgeting and forecasting in coordination with the Divisional Project Manager.Review performance reviews and identify high performers for development.Provide direction, coaching, and leadership to direct reports.Coordinate recruitment, training, and performance management within the project department.Maintain a positive work environment, resolve concerns, and act as a mediator for issues with customers and suppliers.Qualification Requirements:University degree in engineering, operations, or logistics with a minimum of 10 years of experience in distribution, logistics, automotive, software, or consulting industries, including significant project management experience.Solid understanding of distribution business systems and related processes.PMP certification is highly desirable.Proficiency in PC-based programs for word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and project schedules.Ability to read and interpret relevant documents, develop procedures, prepare detailed project reports, and communicate effectively with customers and senior management.Thrives on challenges, approaches tasks with vigor and adaptability, and seizes opportunities.
