Job Description

Reporting to the Sales Director, the On-Premise Territory Manager, is responsible for the growth in sales volume, development of new business opportunities and successfully meeting customer needs for the Downtown Vancouver territory. Territory : Downtown Vancouver Responsibilities ~ Aggressively grow the market share and presence in licensee accounts by building quality partnerships that fit the Dandurand portfolio of brands. ~ Establish and effectively manage a sales call cycle for 100+ licensees. ~ Analyze and interpret industry data to build quality sales pitches and presentations for brands ~ Manage designated budgets on a daily basis to grow business. ~ Maintain an excellent understanding of our products, the competitive landscape and the customer’s business. ~ Create innovative ways to spotlight brands in the on-premise channel. ~ Organize and attend trade events which serve to promote brands and prospect potential clients. ~100% compliance in tracking account calls, targets, objectives, distribution and account management in CRM platform. ~ Forecast volume estimates for account purchases utilizing sales data. ~ Plan and participate in supplier visits, trade events, marketing blitz programs, and consumer events, all of which may fall outside of normal business hours. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Three (3) years of experience in a sales role Experience in the on-premise alcoholic beverage industry (strong asset) WSET 2 certification (strong asset) Qualifications Highly developed interpersonal skills, confidence, and dynamic leadership capabilities Excellent communication and presentation capabilities Ability to analyze and interpret data to ensure closing the sale Strong planning and organizational skills Completed training in the wine industry (WSET 2 or higher) is a strong asset Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) Knowledge of various CRM tools Proven ability to manage multiple projects and respect tight deadlines Ability to attend evening and weekends events Own a car and a valid driver’s license
