If so, then Prairie Bus Lines has the perfect opportunity for you!Prairie Bus Lines is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team in Red Deer. Dispatchers are primarily responsible for scheduling drivers, providing tactful and professional telephone and radio assistance, and administrative duties. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. The Dispatcher would be alternating on-call every other weekend. Qualifications:Excellent customer service skills, proven ability to serve the public and relate to coworkers in a courteous, helpful mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skills, intuitive and empathetic listening skillsStrong telephone etiquette Very organizedStrong computer skills and knowledgeable of Microsoft ProgramsAbility to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and as a part of a teamClear criminal recordValid Alberta driver's license; class 2S license considered an assetDemonstrated problem solving skillsGood map reading skills with a strong knowledge of Red Deer and surrounding areasRemuneration will be dependent on training and experience.
