Job Description American Iron & Metal is looking to add a Dispatcher to join our growing logistics team. Every AIM employee takes great pride in their job and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the success of the company. As an AIM Front-Load dispatcher, the candidate will be responsible for: Providing a high level of customer service to all accounts while scheduling company drivers to service customers. The dispatcher will need to provide courtesy calls to customers to check on the status to bins almost daily. Schedule delivery of new bins, along with swaps and removals. This is a fast-paced dynamic environment that requires the ability to problem solve and will provide the chance for learning every day. We will provide the chosen candidate with the proper training on all company software and procedure to ensure their success. Qualifications Previous dispatch experience Proficient in Microsoft office, excel and word Strong professionalism and customer service skills Ability to work independently and objectively Ability to perform at a high level in a high-pressure fast paced environment Ability to adapt to change and multitask Ability to plan efficient routes based off customers pickup requests Organized and detailed oriented Additional Qualification Preferred Experience dispatching a roll-off, lugger and/or front-end load trucks preferred Knowledge of steel industry Knowledge of MTO rules and regulations Experience dispatching city drivers on local routes Ability to work outside of regular hours as required Additional Information What we offer : Full time, permanent position A competitive annual base salary, vacation and benefits.  The tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development.  A dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun!
