What You Will Do:
The Director of Systems will provide technical oversight with implementation of new business systems, while maintaining existing systems, and providing project leadership. Reporting to the VP of Systems, the Director of Systems will be responsible for recognizing probable conflicts and producing innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and effective system solutions
- Partner with cross functional teams to align business systems initiatives with organizational goals
- Develop detailed project plans, organize, and coordinate communication with project team, and monitor progress
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in property technology and recommend innovative solutions to enhance business capabilities
- Monitor tech stack performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to address issues and enhance system reliability.
- Maintain best practices, standards, and policies for business systems development, deployment, and maintenance
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in business systems management
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area of study from accredited institutions an asset
- A combination of education, certifications, and experience will be considered
- Ability to learn quickly, self-start, and work in a high paced environment with little supervision
- Enthusiastic personality with great communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Technically minded with a strong passion for technology
- Thrives in a team atmosphere
