For those up to the challenge, it’sgoing to be a thrilling ride.Director of Quality Assurance (QA)As the Director of Quality Assurance (QA) you will provide company levelleadership support to ensure that we ship stable high quality games andcontent to our players. Using your expert knowledge of all aspects ofQuality Assurance and exceptional collaboration skills you will lead the QAefforts across all our games, setting the standards of quality in featuredevelopment testing, compatibility & compliance testing, and all areasof QA.You’ll work closely with each development team to ensure that theyhave the necessary QA processes, support, and staffing so that they delivergames that meet and exceed the high expectations our players have.Responsibilities:Build up the QA discipline at SEMC across strategy, team, and executionContinuously evolve QA infrastructure and process to support multiplegame teams serving all aspects of game testing needs including functional,localization, compatibility, and qualitative testing. Partner with the leadership team of each project to establish abest-in-class testing process that is adaptable to the unique needs of eachgame throughout its development and live operations lifecycle Manage existing QA team members and help further elevate their impact.Evaluate, improve, and extend SEMC’s XQA partnerships to ensure wehave appropriate scalable resourcing for every stage of the gamedevelopment process.Required Skills:10+ years of experience working in Video Game Quality Assurance 3+ years at a Manager or Senior Manager level in QA Have shipped 1 or more AAA titles Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing QA processes andprocedures at scale Experience working on a diverse portfolio of games at all stages ofdevelopment and live service, identifying risks and issues, mitigating andresolving them Experience managing and growing a QA team of people managers and ICsAbility and experience in establishing and managing external QA vendorrelationshipsBonus points for:Experience working on mobile & cross-platform games Experience working with distributed remote teams Experience working on Open World Games zThe base annual salary range for this position in the United States is$100,000-$165,000. The base salary is just one part of the overallcompensation package. SEMC also offers a package of benefits, including,healthcare coverage, unlimited PTO, a remote work environment, flex workingschedule, parental leave support, 100% 401k match on the first 3% of yourcontribution, and paid local hangout meals and events. This base pay range is for theUnited States only and does not apply to international locations. The rangefor each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hiresalaries for the position across all US locations.
