Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to take direct responsibility for overseeing all divisional operations, including Insurance, Educational Background Screening (EBS), and Transportation Background Screening (MEE). The ideal candidate will have strong change management skills, be adept at controlling budgets on a monthly and yearly basis, and possess a high level of drive and customer focus. Must be from similar industry to understand compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assume direct responsibility for all divisional operations, including Insurance, EBS, and MEE.

· Control budget for monthly and yearly expenditures.

· Manage and support a team of operations personnel in Canada & US.

· Develop and support 24/7 operational infrastructure, working closely with HR on interview and onboarding processes, and executing training deliverables.

· Manage operational process adherence and compliance, including meeting with clients for issue resolution.

· Drive business process improvement initiatives through analysis and collaboration.

· Engage in long-term business planning at the managerial and executive level, tracking SLAs and ensuring delivery within standard forecasting.

· Maintain a Project Oxygen score of 4.25 by fostering a positive employee culture.

· Ensure adequate support from shared service departments such as human resources and make recommendations for improvement.

· Ensure all operational SOPs are fully utilized across all regions.

· Represent operations to clients, including attending presentations and meetings as required.

· Create programs and processes to build relationships with front-line staff and demonstrate a hands-on approach.

· Support account management with client service deliverables and operational excellence, collaborating with all team members.

· Increase efficiency of operations by introducing best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.

· Must have industry experience in a senior level role

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

· Strong understanding of Insurance, EBS, and MEE operations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proven track record of driving change and process improvement.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Experience managing remote teams across different regions.

· Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to travel as required.
