In this role, you will design and deploy strategies, best practices, and solutions for the Planning and Fulfillment function. Develops Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), inventory management, resource allocation, and short-term planning processes while optimizing businesses' net working capital. Your responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, and implement planning and fulfillment strategies aligned with the business strategy.
  • Implement the deployment and improvement of S&OP and inventory management best practice processes across all ELIP CA sites in line with the business area/division strategy.
  • Develop and lead end-to-end process optimization to reduce overall end-to-end lead times, inventory, including Sales In Excess (SIE) of invoicing, and customer on-time delivery, improving fulfillment and value chain visibility.
  • Identify opportunities where Planning and Fulfillment can contribute value to other functions and look for processes within other functions that can improve the performance of Planning and Fulfillment.
  • Provide coaching, ensure the local organizations get trained on process(es) and systems and support them in defining the specific local process(es).
  • Ensure that the S&OP blueprint is defined within the division and ensure the S&OP is implemented.
  • Ensure that S&OP meets the required standard and that a maturity improvement plan is implemented.
  • Coach and lead the deployment of inventory management best practices globally.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, or other relevant field of study, combined with 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and in a similar role.
  • Team management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Analytical and methodical approach, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach, with strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
