Job Description Summary: The Director of Manufacturing isresponsible for all plant operations. This individual providesleadership and continual development of the operations including but notbe limited to; production and financial controls, plant security andsafety, OSHA compliance, quality (Industry regulations), and allmanufacturing areas and departments including final assembly. TheDirector of Manufacturing is responsible for working with manyfunctional areas across the company to ensure consistency in operationsand related strategies. This will include participation in allactivities impacting the location. This individual will lead large-scaleprojects to ensure they are completed on time, on budget, and meetspecified quality standards, production requirements, and goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee all plant operations andrelated support areas Coordinate technical service activities across abroad range of internal and external assignments Represent thecompany\'s interests in dealings with suppliers and customersAccountable for manufacturing costs, quality and production quantities.Manage the effective use of production hours, skills, equipment andfacilities. Participate in planning production schedules, requirementsand manufacturing controls as related to manufacturing operations Workclosely with the company\'s plant management personnel to develop andimplement strategies for operational improvement. Ensure efficiencystandards for all operations are met Responsible for development ofcapital and other annual budgeting including evaluating the economicValue Added (EVA) and Return on Investment (ROI) impact for location.Responsible for maintaining and managing established budgets throughoutfiscal year to achieve financial goals Cost and evaluate newtechnologies and recommend strategies for acquisition and implementationManage all aspects of plant safety, security and environmentalcompliance Consistently administer company...
